Privacy Policy

SoldSite is operated by ABC AGENCY LIMITED, Company Registration No. 80372891, registered at Unit 2904-05, 29/F, Universal Trade Centre, 3 Arbuthnot Road, Hong Kong. For any privacy question or request, contact support@soldsite.com.

Depending on how you use the service, we process:

• Account data — your email address, account identifier, email verification status and, if you set one, a display name. Passwords are handled by our authentication infrastructure in hashed form; we do not have access to your password.
• Appraisal data — the domain names you submit, the appraisal results generated for you, and related timestamps and status information.
• Credit and transaction data — your credit balance, credit purchase and usage records, and payment identifiers and metadata received from Stripe (such as checkout session, payment and charge identifiers, amount, currency, package purchased and payment status).
• Security and abuse-prevention data — records used to detect and limit abuse of free credits and of the appraisal service, including request timestamps, rate-limit counters, whether a sign-up email domain is a known disposable-email provider, and an irreversible hashed identifier derived from the network (IP) address used at sign-up.
• Affiliate program data — if you apply to our affiliate program, the contact name, website and promotion method you submit, your application note, your referral code, application status, the terms version you accepted, aggregate referral counts, commission and adjustment records, and the payout details you choose to provide (such as a PayPal or Wise account identifier and payee name). Payout details are stored for paying you only, are never shown to other users, and are accessible solely to us as the operator.

Our IP-abuse protection stores only the irreversible hashed value described above; it does not store your raw IP address. Raw connection information may still be processed transiently by our hosting and infrastructure providers as part of delivering any website request.

We do not ask for and do not want special-category data. Please do not submit sensitive personal information through the service or by email.

We process the data above to:

• create and operate your account and authenticate you;
• generate appraisals and keep your appraisal history available to you;
• allocate, track and deduct credits;
• process purchases and handle refunds, disputes and accounting records;
• prevent and investigate fraud and abuse, including abuse of free credits, and keep the service stable through rate limits;
• operate our affiliate program, including reviewing applications, attributing referred signups, calculating commission from verified payment records, and making payouts;
• respond to support requests and communicate about your account;
• understand how the website is used and improve it, using analytics only where you have accepted analytics;
• comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.

Where a legal basis is required under applicable data protection law, we rely on the performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in securing and improving the service, your consent for analytics, and compliance with legal obligations.

We use the following providers to run the service. Each receives only the data needed for its function, and processes it under its own terms and privacy policy:

• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe collects and handles your payment card details directly; we do not receive or store your full card number or security code. We receive transaction identifiers, amounts, status and the purchase reference needed to allocate credits.
• OpenAI — AI-assisted appraisal analysis and content classification. The domain name being appraised and related valuation figures are sent for processing. We do not send your email address, account details or payment data.
• Replicate (HumbleWorth model) — automated domain valuation processing. Only the domain name being appraised is sent.
• Lovable Cloud (built on Supabase) — our hosting, application, authentication and database infrastructure. Account, appraisal, credit and abuse-prevention records described above are stored here, and account emails such as verification and password-reset messages are sent through this infrastructure.
• Google Fonts — web fonts loaded by your browser when you visit the site. As with any request to a third-party server, this can expose ordinary request information such as your IP address and browser user-agent to Google.
• Google Analytics 4 — website usage measurement, loaded only if you accept analytics. Google may process analytics-related technical, device and usage information (such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from the connection, browser and device type) under its own privacy practices. We do not send your email address, the domains you submit, appraisal results, payment or Stripe identifiers, or affiliate referral codes to Google Analytics.

These providers operate in various countries, so your data may be processed outside your own jurisdiction. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

We may also disclose data where required by law, or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We do not use advertising pixels, behavioural advertising, remarketing or profiling on SoldSite.

We do use essential browser storage (cookies and/or local storage) to keep you signed in and to maintain your session securely. Blocking this storage will prevent you from logging in and using the service. Third-party resources such as web fonts, and the Stripe checkout pages you are redirected to when purchasing, may set or read their own storage under their own policies.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-29D753L1KW) to understand how the website is used and to improve the service. Analytics is loaded only after you choose "Accept analytics"; if you reject, or have not yet chosen, no analytics measurement is sent at all. We measure page views and a small fixed set of product events (for example: sign-up completed, appraisal started or completed, checkout started, purchase). We do not send your email address, the domains you submit, appraisal results, payment card details, Stripe identifiers or affiliate referral codes to Google Analytics; purchase events use an amount and a one-way, opaque transaction reference. Google may process analytics-related technical, device and usage information under its own privacy practices.

Changing your choice. Your analytics preference is stored locally in your browser so we do not ask again on every visit. You can change or withdraw it at any time using the "Analytics preferences" link in the site footer. Rejecting analytics is exactly as easy as accepting and does not limit any part of the service.

If you arrive through an affiliate referral link, we set one additional first-party cookie (ss_ref) containing only the affiliate's referral code. It is server-set, HttpOnly and Secure, expires after 60 days, and is used solely to credit the correct affiliate if you create an account. It is strictly necessary for that purpose, works independently of your analytics choice, is not used for advertising or profiling, is not shared with the affiliate or with Google Analytics, and is cleared once attribution has been resolved. See the Affiliate Program Terms.

We do not currently operate automatic deletion schedules for account, appraisal or transaction records. They may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to:

• provide the service and keep your account working;
• maintain your appraisal history and credit records;
• keep transaction and accounting records;
• prevent, detect and investigate fraud, abuse and security incidents;
• resolve refunds, disputes and other claims;
• comply with applicable legal and record-keeping obligations.

Abuse-prevention records, including hashed network identifiers and rate-limit records, are kept only for as long as they remain useful for that purpose.

The application does not currently offer self-service account deletion, data export or appraisal-history deletion. To make a request about your data — such as access, correction, deletion or a copy of your information — email support@soldsite.com from the address on your account.

We handle requests subject to applicable law and to legitimate retention needs. In particular, we may be unable to delete payment, credit and accounting records where retention is required for legal, tax, accounting, dispute-resolution or fraud-prevention purposes. We will tell you what we can and cannot do in response to your request.

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on managed infrastructure with access controls, and database access rules restrict account data to the account it belongs to. Passwords are stored in hashed form by our authentication provider, and known compromised passwords are rejected at sign-in. No online service can be completely secure, so please use a strong, unique password and contact us if you suspect unauthorised access.

The service is intended for users aged 18 and over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy as the service, our providers or legal requirements change. The current version is always published here with its update date, and we will take reasonable steps to notify you of material changes. Our Terms of Service govern your use of the service.
